Wellbeing Workshops

This was an AMAZING class. Thank you

A great session. An opportunity for parents to come together, share experiences and understand from an expert the potential factors leading to anger we experience, and gain some tools for managing that anger.
I came away realising that this is a shared struggle and that we are not alone in this space.

Brilliant workshop - realistic and helpful. Made me feel less alone, and helped me recognise and admit how challenging things can be sometimes.

The space felt really safe, thanks to the great facilitator and academic lead who was so open and generous with sharing her own experiences.

Caroline’s session was great and very useful.

This is the kind of session that remind us that we are humans with feelings and thoughts. It was really good talking to Caroline. She was a very good listener and there was alot of positive energy following her session.

I came out of her session and went and explained to my family about Paul Gilbert’s Three Circle model. I found it inspiring.

I deliver wellbeing workshops face-to-face and online for busy, stressed out professionals, parents and parents-to-be.

In these interactive sessions - held in settings from corporate companies and membership communities to NHS hospitals - I provide practical, evidence-based tools alongside a supportive, reflective space, helping caregivers ease the challenges of parenting and gain confidence to thrive amidst competing demands.

In a typical 90 minute workshop for mothers, attendees will learn:

  • To recognise triggers and how overwhelm shows up in their brain and body

  • How damaging motherhood myths fuel perfectionism

  • What kids actually need (and what they don’t)

  • How to ditch pressure and guilt, set boundaries and build self-compassion

  • Practical, evidence-based tools and practices to regulate and reset in hot moments

Workshops close with an experiential grounding exercise and Q&A.

In a typical 90 minute workshop for professionals (in settings including corporate organisations and NHS hospitals), attendees will learn:

  • To make sense of multi-layered contexts contributing to stress and burn out, drawing on Coordinated Management of Meaning (Pearce & Cronen).

  • How we experience stress in our brain & body, based on an evolutionary model of emotional regulation.

  • Practical, proven ways to self-regulate, reconnect and repair by connecting to our ‘soothing’ system.

Workshops close with a grounding visualisation and Q&A.

Highly recommended. It was a privilege to sit and observe Caroline’s session on our Supported Return to Training Course. Caroline’s manner and thoughtful approach to the stresses and anxieties faced by trainee doctors in their return to the workplace was really well received.

Caroline provided a space for trainees to open up about their own anxieties and experiences and provided some useful suggestions to help mitigate them or manage them better. Mental health of doctors/those working in healthcare is not something that is often addressed and Caroline’s session explores the issues facing doctors in managing workplace stress along with the stresses of home life.

I felt very seen. The content was so helpful & really made me realise how much anxiety I’ve been feeling towards motherhood is in part likely due to my HSP traits.
I am so relieved to have this sensitively & practically acknowledged in this masterclass.
