Training and Supervision
Training
I have developed specialist training for practitioners interested in understanding and working therapeutically with maternal anger. This work draws on trauma-informed approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR, alongside attachment and integrative psychological models.
The focus of this training is to support practitioners to feel more confident recognising, conceptualising and responding to maternal anger in clinical practice.
This includes understanding the wider psychological, relational and sociocultural contexts shaping mothers’ emotional lives, as well as integrating trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.

Supervision
I offer supervision and consultation for clinicians working with difficult emotional experiences arising in matrescence, including perinatal anxiety, anger and grief - particularly where these relate to challenges in identity transition, birth experiences, experiences of feeling ‘othered’ or early attachment relationships.
Alongside clinical work, I deliver perinatal training to healthcare professionals and share psychological perspectives on maternal mental health through teaching, writing and media work.
